    anti-missile system RPK-9 Mole Compact anti-missile system RPK-9 "Medvedka" is intended to arm surface ships with a displacement of 350 tons, including ships dynamically supported, with the aim to defeat submarines mine and anti-submarine barriers.

    Development RPK-9 (originally dubbed "Blizzard") began in the 80s of the last century at the Moscow Institute of Thermal Technology under the leadership of N. Mazurova. As the missile use of small homing torpedo MPT-1UE development CRI "Gidropribor" (St. Petersburg). Complex fire control produced concern "Granit-Electron" (St. Petersburg). Serial production of anti-missile 87R from the complex mastered GTO "Votkinsk plant".
