    Construction ships of this class is a wonderful example of the Italian circuit reservation traditional for that time. 152-mm guns were placed in an armored central battery. With sufficiently powerful armor these ships had a relatively high speed.

    battleship Saint-Bon

    Launched in 1897, "Amiral de Saint-Bon" was the flagship of the Italian Navy. He participated in the Italo-Turkish War. In 1912, he maintained his fire, Italian troops disembark in Tripoli. In the same year he acted in the Aegean Sea, the Italian infantry supported the capture of the island of Rhodes during the First Balkan War. During World War I battleship operated in the Adriatic Sea. In June 1920 the ship was withdrawn from service fleet.
